A fair return process, no surprises

If something isn’t right with your order, eligible film can be returned within 30 days. Below is exactly what qualifies, what doesn’t, and how the process works from first email to refund.

30-Day Return Window

You can return eligible products within 30 days of the date of purchase. Returns requested outside this window cannot be accepted. Every return must be approved by our team before it is shipped back to us.

What Can Be Returned

Film qualifies for a return only when it is completely untouched. That means the roll is:

  • Unusednever installed or applied.
  • Uncutthe full, original roll length.
  • In its original packaging and conditionexactly as it arrived.

Products that have been cut, installed, altered or used are not eligible for return or refund.

Final Sale Items

The following items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Tools and accessoriesall tool sales are final.
  • Custom-cut rolls and pre-cut patternsthese are cut to order for you, so they cannot be restocked.
  • Promotional, clearance and sale itemsall sales on discounted items are final.
  • Film that has been cut, installed, altered or usedincluding partially used rolls.

How To Return Your Film

  1. 1Contact us firstAll returns must be approved by Union Window Films before being shipped back. Do not return products without contacting us first — unauthorized returns cannot be accepted. Reach out within the 30-day window with your order number and the reason for the return.
  2. 2Ship the film backOnce your return is approved, we will provide return instructions. You are responsible for the return shipping and handling costs, and we recommend a tracked, insured service — the film remains your responsibility until it reaches us. Include your order number with the package.
  3. 3We inspect the filmWhen your return arrives, our team examines it to confirm it is completely untouched — unused, uncut, unaltered and in its original packaging and condition.
  4. 4We make our decisionAfter inspection, we will confirm the outcome of your return. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days of inspection.

Refunds

  • Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method only, typically within 5–10 business days of inspection.
  • Approved returns may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 20%, depending on the condition of the returned product.
  • Original shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. If your order shipped free, the actual outbound shipping cost may be deducted from your refund.
  • Return shipping costs are not reimbursed.

Wrong Or Defective Items

If we make a mistake — you receive the wrong product, or your film arrives with a confirmed manufacturing defect — we will correct it by replacing the product at our expense. Our responsibility is limited to replacement. Contact us within 30 days of purchase with your order number and photos of the issue so we can resolve it quickly.

Refunds and replacements are not provided for buyer’s remorse, improper use, or damage caused during installation.
